Ramadan is a time of spiritual reflection and devotion for Muslims worldwide, and it’s also a time for giving back to society and helping those in need. To promote health and wellness during this month, STEPPI has partnered with the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD), Dubai Government, Dubai Sports Council, and Al Jalila Foundation to host a unique charity challenge called STEPS OF LIFE.
The STEPS OF LIFE challenge aims to encourage healthy activity during Ramadan while supporting a charitable contribution of 1 MILLION DIRHAMS from IACAD to Al Jalila Foundation upon achieving the target of 1 Billion steps. Participating in the challenge is easy. All you need to do is download the STEPPI app, join the challenge, and start tracking your steps. The challenge starts on the first day of Ramadan and ends when the target is achieved.
Walking is a low-impact exercise that people of all ages and fitness levels can do, and it’s an easy way to stay active and burn calories, which is especially important during Ramadan when people tend to consume more food than usual. The funds raised will be used for medical research to transform patient lives. By participating in the challenge, you can make a significant impact on the lives of others and help make a difference in your community.
In addition to the charitable aspect, the STEPS OF LIFE challenge offers fantastic rewards for participants. In addition to the 100’s or rewards on the STEPPI app, for every day that participants complete at least 10,000 steps, they will receive one entry into a raffle draw to win a brand-new Apple Watch! STEPPI will provide weekly progress updates on steps and donations, so participants can track their progress.
The STEPS OF LIFE challenge is an excellent opportunity for people to stay fit and healthy during Ramadan while contributing to society. By joining the challenge, you can make a positive impact on the lives of others and help make a difference in your community. So, download the STEPPI app, register for the challenge, and start taking steps towards a healthier and more fulfilling Ramadan.
